Posted by Prabin the सोभित on Wednesday, May 28, 2008
This match is actually scheduled to play Today May 28 But overnight and morning’s heavy rain forced to abandone and will play on tomorrow.
NEPAL, now leading the group by better run rate than USA, having same point both at 8 points. and tomorrow’s match will fix the winner of the group so it is very important to win tomorrow game for boosting our confidence and to go to semifinal against another group’s runner up team which could be easy to go through final and promotion to division 4. Still here, if the match could not be played tomorrow as well then NEPAL will be decleared as winner.
update:
Today, 2008-05-29
These sides are both unbeaten, and the winner of this match will top the group and take on Afghanistan in the semi-finals. The loser will meet Jersey.
Nepal have brought in Amrit Bhattarai in place of Dhirendra Bahadur Chand, while Steve Nadkarni returns for the USA and off-spinner Niraj Shah comes in in place of left-armer Masood Mohamed, who is twelfth man.
Nepal have won the toss, and elected to bat.
The sun has been shining there, although some high cloud cover is currently building up, and there’s the possibility of a shower later.
In between, Andrew Nixon of Beyond the Boundry thinks, “The USA are a better side than Nepal, of that there is no doubt. But this is a dead rubber match, so anything can happen, especially if Alam and Das bowl well.”
ok then, if you want share your thoughts, share with us.
Update:
Now, NST 8.00 pm, Rain is stopped the match to progress. Rain started In between the Innings break.

These sides are both unbeaten, and the winner of this match will top the group and take on Afghanistan in the semi-finals. The loser will meet Jersey. The outfield has taken a lot of rain over the past 48 hours, but it’s looking remarkably good under the circumstances. It will be interesting to see whether the American seamers are able to extract the same sort of life from this pitch that they produced against Norway on Sunday.
Nepal have brought in Amrit Bhattarai in place of Dhirendra Bahadur Chand, while Steve Nadkarni returns for the USA and off-spinner Niraj Shah comes in in place of left-armer Masood Mohamed, who is twelfth man.Nepal have won the toss, and elected to bat.The sun has been shining, although some high cloud cover is currently building up, and there’s the possibility of a shower later.
Good morning from Farmers Field. It’s not raining!
