Now, It’s turn to U 16 to prove themselves

Nepal is organising another cricketing tournament from today in Kathmandu till March 16. This time, this is the tournament of U16 level by Asian Cricket Counsil (ACC). It includes Nepal, Hongkong, Bahrain, Kuwait, Singapore,  Malaysia, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.

The fixtures was rescheduled after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar pulled out of the tournament after failing to field three nationals in their team.

The match will kick off at 9.45 a.m. at the TU Cricket Grounds, Kirtipur. Meanwhile, Kuwait will clash with Bahrain at the Pulchowk Cricket Grounds and Singapore will take on Malaysia at the BSAM Grounds, Bhaktapur.

All the age group matches will be played in the 40-over format.

    Nepal u-16’s having a great start against Hong Kong. Honk Kong are 88 all out. Keep it up!

    I recently saw some pictures in the ICC website where the Jersey team were visiting the local orphanages in Nepal and I’m truly touched. Thank you Jersey team!
